I led the production, organization, and execution of the Midwest's premier Web3 conference, Web3 Investor Day. The event gathered 350+ founders, investors, and industry thought leaders to engage in a full day of networking and demo's on July 28, 2022, which kicked off another cultural crossroads moment in Chicago, Lollapalooza. Esteemed speakers included Brett Harrison, Sam Yagan, Rumi Morales, and keynote fireside chat Jason Pritzker.
The intention was to bring together the community, both from Chicago and around the nation, to deepen conversations and connections around capital and powerful ideas.
This conversation, which takes place in a live conference setting and includes audience Q+A, ranges from defining differences between centralized and decentralized finance, focusing on value propositions in DeFi, borrowing and lending, growing a company sustainably, and why FTX chose Chicago for their first US HQ.
